Highlights of What's New in 2008

The new 113,300-ton Carnival Splendor – the largest “Fun Ship” ever constructed – will offer one of the most diverse array of schedules ever assembled with seven- to 18-day cruises that will visit nearly 50 ports throughout Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Greek Isles, Caribbean, South America, and Mexican Riviera beginning in July 2008.

The massive 3,006-passenger SuperLiner will also offer a host of innovative facilities and features, highlighted by the luxurious 21,000-square-foot “Cloud 9 Spa,” one of the largest and most elaborate at sea.

Adjacent to the facility will be 68 exclusive spa staterooms and suites – a first for the line – offering a host of exclusive amenities and privileges. Other highlights will include a two-level, 5,500-square-foot children’s play area – the largest in the Carnival fleet – a water park, and a sliding sky dome over the main pool area which will house a massive LED screen on Lido Deck displaying movies, concerts and other programming.
